The government's preposterous move to reserve seats in Educational Institutes is a testimony of the fact that Power Corrupts Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely. People who such as A.P.J. Kalam, ManMohan Singh , Atal Behari Vajpayee who were so much admired for their statesmanship have all come as a cropper in the time of crisis ooops no time of Political Upmanship. Just as Sonia's relucatance to undergo coronation had long term plans this move is also not bereft of this motive. The motive is to unseat OBC leaders and occupy the void thus created at the cost of students who for the time being do not seem to be attractive votebank stuff.

Our President who talks of ideas and ideals is just no more than a sycophant playing subservient to the government for he has no love lost for clinging to Presidency. It is a shame that despite so much unrest and hoopla , the government is busy discussing Office of Profit where it has gone out of the way to cloister the Gandhi clan just as it has but with a different motive for the Deservering no Reserving students. If any institution where half the community joins on the basis of criteria other than merit how can that institute be not vulnerable enough to lose the turf to its competitors. In fact in this game of onr manupmanship , the the ultimate beneficiaries are the Foreign Universities.

To me it never occured that taking a stand on morality is so difficult untill I came across today Political quacks who still aver that vote bank Politics shall rule the roost.

But the fault is also ours who despite taking the best of education , never got emblozened in Politics but payinf such a heavy price is too much of an Injustice.

We all express our support and moral backing to the students spearheading the campaign ....As a booster if Nepals's Democracy can be obliterated in a span of 18 Days , withering Arjun Singh should not be much of a challlenge.

And before signing off a note of caution ...All the goodwill generated by the industrious , meritorious , non quota students which is being reaped by one and all in one stroke will come down as a pyramid of packing cards but with a caveat and that is wven we will be at the receiving end.
