Two to a Tango....... is it?

The government is contemplating celebrations to mark its two years in office but does it has the moral right to indulge in self aggrandization when the country is in turmoil. The doctors and engineering students are all out against the divisive policy of the government , the stock market is on a rock and roll turf , the Maoists are back with a vengeance to undermine the authority of the government , and the much hyped Bharat Nirman still a distant goal that has not yet matched the hype it has generated.
Does the government has any moral right to celebrate when democracy itself is at its apocalytic abysmal low , the oppposition is rudderless , still trying to imbecile the people through its hypocratic stands on issues that require high objectivity. The government cannot foolthe people and nor can the opposition which has shown how irrelevant it can become . It has made people optimists that well the worse is still possible in Governance .
I the other day had the lifetime opportunity of my life to lend my physical support to a cause that if not obliterated immediately can become a big repentant in the future. What was definitely heartening to seee was the zest , the uncompromising commitment to a cause that is selfish to the least and philanthropy to the maximum.
